• 2 garlic teeth
  • 2 spoonfuls of semi refined sugar
  • 8 green lemons
  • 24 shrimps
  • 1 spoonfuls of fresh ginger
  • 2 spoonfuls of oil
  • 800 g the melon
  • 2 Chilli peppers
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 teaspoon powder sugar



Cut the melon in two halves and take the pips out. Cut the flesh with a small round spoon in form of balls.
Squeeze the rest of the lemon and add the juice and pepper.

On another plate put the semi refined sugar and add a bit of salt.
Soak the melon balls with lemon juice and put them immediately into the semi refined sugar.
Put melon and shrimps alternatively on the spit.

Grill it on the barbecue or in the oven which should be very hot in order to caramelize without baking.
Accompany with aromatized rice.
